Hey guys... I think I've found a new obsession, wanna know what it is?...
Yep... Polyvore.. Some of you might already know what Polyvore is, but for those of you who don't know, basically is like a huge catalogue online where you can mix and match clothing pieces and create "sets" (or in other words: outfits) virtually, and it helps you to see if the outfit you where planning on using looks good or not. It is easy to see the complete outfit than the pieces by their own. Also it has a ton of different brands, colors and categories to choose from so you can create a million different looks, and later replicate it with things you own that look similar to the ones in the website. It is also a great place to get inspiration and to find an outfit on those days when you can't find what to wear, or feel like you don't have anything to wear.
I know other bloggers use this website to make their montly favorites, or create outfits for blog posts, Madeline, Raquel and Dinah are some of them. (btw, go check out their blogs... they are lovely!), and I have to admit I did hear about polyvore before, but never really payed attention to the website... Until a few days ago that I had free time and I decided to see what polyvore was really about. It is also a place to discover and start new trends.
Now I love it!!! Here's an outfit for fall I put together:
I believe Polyvore is kinda like the app "dream closet", but better, because it is free, you can create outfits based on items similar to what you have on your closet, or make something really crazy you love but aren't brave enough to wear it... at least for now. And there's a section where you can ask polyvore members if some items look good together, or, you know how there's always something you love, and probably you buy, but then you have NO idea what to wear it with... well, you can just publish your question and find an item on the website that is similar to yours, or put a picture and get other girls opinions.
Sounds pretty cool right? Specially for those of you who love fashion like me, it's a great place to go get inspired. And no matter what your style is, there's something for everyone... Oh, and If you really, really like an item, you can actually buy it from the website. Just thought I'd share it with you.

I could never figure out how to use that. It's like there is a big selection and how can you even decide??? I wanted to make cool ones but I just keep failing so I gave up. I didn't want to take the time to learn it.
